Short Description

Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens using proper techniques, ensuring accurate labeling, handling, and documentation. Maintain a clean, organized work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Verify patient information, provide exceptional care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for timely specimen collection. Assist with additional tasks as needed, all while maintaining a professional and personable demeanor.

Experience Required

  • Reliable and punctual with the ability to work evening and night shifts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety measures
  • Intermediate computer skills for data entry and record keeping

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a phlebotomy training program

License/Certification Requirements

  • National Phlebotomy certification or equivalent is preferred
