Short Description

Performs radiographic procedures according to established hospital standards, state, and federal regulations. A thorough understanding of Radiologic principles and theory, anatomy and pathology processes utilizing the most appropriate technique and/or positioning.

Experience Required

New graduates are welcome to apply.

Education Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school.

License/Certification Requirements

A New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) License is required.

The ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and /or certification by the NJ State Board of Examiners.

Special Requirements

BLS/CPR preferred, required after 6 months' employment
