Manages all aspects of departmental research infrastructure, including hiring and supervising research staff, budget and finance for division of clinical research, oversight of regulatory compliance, planning and program development, coordinating weekly research meetings, and supervising investigator-initiated and extramurally funded research projects.
Coordinate and manage related clinical research trials, including trial design,
protocol development, regulatory requirements, data collection and management, protocol
implementation, staff education and supervision utilizing clinical knowledge, technical
expertise, interpersonal and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, exercise
initiative, creativity and motivation with the ability to delegate and use resources effectively
with a willingness to handle complex challenges presented.
2-5 years relevant research experience. Preferably experience performing both NIH/federally-funded and industry-funded clinical trials.
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree in a scientific field strongly preferred
Human Subjects Protection training, Good Clinical Practice training
