Short Description

  • Coordinates and scans MRI procedures in a clinical setting
  • Provide appropriate and timely patient education/preparation
  • Monitor daily quality assurance and ensure equipment is operated 

Experience Required

  • Experienced medical imaging technologist demonstrating competency to successfully complete magnetic resonance procedures and maintain additional education in sectional anatomy
  • Ability to logically and independently plan and organize work assignments.  Interpersonal skills must be well developed.  Should possess the initiative and ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.  Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.  Must possess analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-

    making skills.  Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing

 

Education Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required

License/Certification Requirements

  • MR Certification, BLS and 5 years MRI experience required.      
  • New Jersey DEP Licensure
