Short Description

The Vice President of Institute Strategy partners with the Medical Director to develop and execute the vision and direction for the Cardiac, Neuroscience, and Adult Health Specialty care Institutes, while ensuring alignment with the overall Cooper strategy. They lead the management oversight for the Cooper & Inspira Cardiac Care and Neuroscience Joint Operating Agreement, ensuring maximum partnership efficiency. They represent the organization in creating new business ventures with external institutions and physicians and continuously evaluate new and existing service line programs for growth and opportunities to work collaboratively. Additionally, they oversee financial performance, including capital and operating budget development, to improve margins and ensure sustainable operations. Ensuring quality patient care is a critical responsibility, achieved through collaboration, routine monitoring, and feedback from patients and team members.

 

The Vice President will: 

  • Collaborate closely with the Medical Director in a strategic partnership to develop and execute the vision and direction of services for the Cardiac, Neuroscience, and Adult Health Specialty care Institutes
  • Lead and be the primary representative for the management oversight for the Cooper & Inspira Cardiac Care and Neuroscience Joint Operating Agreement. 
  • Act as the organization's representative in developing new business ventures with external institutions and physicians, while establishing continuous evaluation systems for new and existing service line programs
  • Financial responsibility for the oversight of physician, service and partnership margin including focusing on improved financial performance, capital and operating budget development and maintenance
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to establish an organizational structure that promotes leadership, aligns decision-making, and incorporates routine feedback from patients and team members.
  • Monitor legislative, reimbursement changes, technological advances, and hospital trends to identify opportunities for growth, cost containment and improvements in care delivery
  • Partner with hospital and ambulatory departments to continuously monitor and enhance the quality of patient care, ensuring the best practices and technologies are integrated while maintaining a patient-centered approach through collaboration and feedback.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience 

Education Requirements

  • Master's Degree required
