Serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients.
Greet, register, schedule and provide general information to patients and/or their families.
Ensures that insurance information is verified, co-pays are collected, and that patient charts
are prepared in advance.
At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and
care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.
Computer literate.
Excellent communication and customer service skill.
Some knowledge of medical insurances.
Knowledge of IDX helpful.
Experience in a medical environment strongly preferred
HS diploma or equivalent
All incumbents must satisfactorily complete a Cooper IDX training program to include: Registration, Scheduling, E-Commerce and FSC
