This is an entry level legal position for The Cooper Health System in-house Legal Department. The candidate must possess excellent research and writing skills, and personal characteristics consistent with the highest standards of ethics and professionalism. The candidate must have a strong work ethic and an ability to function effectively in a small law firm-like environment where teamwork, flexibility, and responsiveness are highly valued. The candidate must be motivated to learn a wide array of subject matter and must be able to effectively represent the interests of diverse clients spanning both clinical and non-clinical disciplines and professional and non-professional occupations.
New graduate - three years’ experience as an Attorney. Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must be able to do computer legal research as well as be familiar with other office equipment such as dictating equipment, business calculator, facsimile machine, photocopying machine, multi-line telephone system. Health law education and/or experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree, Juris Doctor
New Jersey Bar required.
