Responsibilities include completing routine EKG procedures in accordance with the American Heart Association standards and department policies. Also performing cardiac stress tests and applying holter monitors. Comprehension of the principles of basic EKG; understanding and identifying basic cardiac arrhythmias.
Ability to troubleshoot problems, follow step by step instruction and guidelines for processing EKG's.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work assignments on a daily basis. Ability to communicate to supervisor, Cardiologist and coworkers' problems with patient, procedure or process of performing cardiac testing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR (American Heart Association) certified.
