Short Description

The Director of Access and Experience at MDA will be responsible for oversite of all incoming calls and new patient access to appointments; success in role will demonstrate an abandonment rate of <5% and a new patient lag of < 10 days. These targets will require a full understanding of the services MDA provides, template utilization and fill rate, and active strategic partnership with MDA executive and physician/APP teams to ensure optimal utilization of these resources. Responsibility extends to targets and outcomes around new patient volumes by disease site and bump rates.

Experience Required

2 or more years of work experience in ambulatory operations, leadership, and/or call center

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required

Bachelor’s Degree (health admin, health sciences, leadership) required

Master’s Degree preferred

Special Requirements

Superior organizational and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail required.

 

Strong oral/written communication skills are a must.

 

Proven ability to work collaboratively and productively with clinicians, administrators, patients, and other individuals from various backgrounds and skill sets.

 

Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

 

Able to manage multiple priorities, utilize effective time management skills, and exercise sound judgment.
