Short Description

  • Acts as the first point of contact for team members providing guidance, training and support as needed.
  • Coordinates and assigns work as well as manages the responsibilities of estimate related work queues. 
  • Identifies and tracks process and/or workflow issues brainstorming possible solutions with the manager.
  • Responsible for daily QA, payroll, and cash reconciliation
  • Collaborates with Managed Care, Rev Integrity, Billing, and IT to optimize patient estimate accuracy and increase Cooper’s revenue stream.

Experience Required

3-5 years required 

Education Requirements

High School Diploma required, Associates preferred 

Special Requirements

  • 5-7 years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle registration, health insurance, patient financial responsibility and point of service collections, working specifically with health insurance plans
  • Advanced knowledge of Medical Terminology, Health Insurance Plans and Patient Out-of-Pocket financial responsibility Epic experience
