Directs the overall Rehab Department for the inpatient operation at the hospital and outpatient operation at clinics in Camden, Cherry Hill, Glassboro, Moorestown, and Voorhees.
Responsible for strategic direction, assessing needs, establishing short and long-term goals, proposing program plans, directing, controlling, and implementing the activities and operational objectives.
Advises and makes recommendations to the Institute Leadership on administrative and operational/organizational, program, personnel management, quality, access, budgetary, and financial matters.
Collaborate with Institute Leadership, executive management, and other directors within the health system to ensure the Institute is appropriately represented and all needs are met.
Responsible for operational, financial and personnel management for the inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Language Pathology rehab programs.
Participate in strategic planning & execution for the Rehab Department and within the Bone & Joint Institute
Actively participate in the Bone & Joint Leadership team
Ensures compliance with regulations and policies.
Represent Rehab in Hospital Wide Committees and initiatives
Develops, maintains and cultivates effective relationships with medical and administrative personnel, as well as referral sources.
Ensures professional development, engagement of staff.
3-5 years required
6-10 years preferred
Experience required in Acute Care Hospitals and / or Outpatient Rehab settings required.
Bachelor Degree and Master's Degree Required
Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy; master’s degree in business, Health Care Administration or related field
Current NJ-PT License as a Physical Therapist.
Current NJ OT License as an Occupational Therapist
Current CPR Certification
