A Social Worker MSW collaborates with providers within the Department of Psychiatry and attends case conference meetings. Knowledge of local resources to suggest to families including resources for food security, rent and utility assistance, mental health counseling etc. Interface with local area schools to communicate patient needs and coordinate home bound instruction. Provides supervision to BA/BSW staff as needed. LCSW's provide clinical supervision to LSW and MSW staff, as assigned by their director
1-2 years health care experience
Requires a master's degree in social work (MSW)
Current NJ SW License – (NEW JERSEY SOCIAL WORKER) preferred, LCSW Preferred.
