5-7 years’ experience in healthcare revenue cycle registration, health insurance, patient financial responsibility and point of service collections, working specifically with health insurance plans.
Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, diagnoses and procedural codes.
Comprehensive understanding of medical insurance plans, products, coverage and plan-specific benefits, along with associated Patient Out-of-Pocket financial liability.
Experience with EPIC system preferred.
Proven ability to provide service excellence to patients and work effectively with all levels of management, physicians, clinicians and payers.
Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years’ experience in healthcare.
Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task using multiple information systems.
Ability to analyze and trend financial business data. Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to articulate relevant information and directions in an organized and concise manner.
Proficiency in use of MS Office Word and Excel. A motivated, decisive, self-starter and problem solver, with excellent time management
