Short Description

The Cardiology coordinator works cohesively with all other hospital staff to collect data and serves as a liaison to assist nursing care areas and managements where there’s opportunity; serves as a service coordinator and liaison with multiple cardiology projects. The Cardiology Coordinator develops and assists in staff/patient education, leads, participates in the quality improvement and quality compliance within the Cardiac Service Line. 

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ Clinical experience in a Cardiology Department
  • Proficient in Clinical Cardiology definitions

Education Requirements

  • Work requires a high level of knowledge and clinical competencies; BSN preferred

License/Certification Requirements

  • NJ-RN
  • Chest Pain Coordinaor Credentialed is preferred or working toward certification
