Coordinate the activities of the Emergency Room, providing direction, act as a resource as educational opportunities arise. Actively participating in the staffing process, charge nurse responsibilities. Assists with staff evaluations and the Q.I. process. Work closely with ER Director, a valuable part of the Emergency Department management team. Provide emotional support to both patients and families. Attend staff meetings and in-services.
3-5 years Emergency Room Experience Required.
Graduate of approved school of professional nursing.
Current NJ license. Coronary course, PALS or ENPC and ACLS required.
