Short Description

GENERAL:

1. Demonstrates strong customer service orientation and ability to interact well with diverse end-
    users, Physicians, and IT Staff.

2. Works independently and able to independently and successfully troubleshoot and resolve clinical
    application problems and error work queues.

3. Demonstrates ability to grasp basic concepts of application-specific systems in order to support Go
    lives.

4. Follows established change management procedures.

DOCUMENTATION:

5. Develops and maintains up to date documentation on all implementations.

6. Develops and maintains Application Support standards and procedures and other documentation as
    required.

SUPPORT:

7. Provides first-tier support for assigned applications, ensuring quality services are delivered and
    performed and customer expectations are achieved or exceeded.

8. Ability to act as an effective liaison between the end user and the Clinical Application Analysts.

TRAINING:

9. Assists in the training and induction of new staff into the Application support team.

TESTING:

10. Demonstrates ability to participate in testing activities by running test scripts and documenting
      results during installation and upgrade activities. Brings forth issues and ideas to improve the
      overall roll out of clinical systems. Scope, Purpose, and Frequency of Contacts: Frequent
      interaction with IT staff and end-users, including health system staff, management, or physicians.

Experience Required

0-2 years' experience preferred.

Education Requirements

High School/GED required.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN preferred

Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system preferred.

Application specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable required.

 

Special Requirements

  • Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology/Systems, Healthcare preferred.
  • 0-2 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 0-2 years relevant clinical, certification, and/or technical experience will be considered for those candidates who have a proven track record in the field and handling responsibilities associated with the outlined job responsibilities/summary.
  • Clinical knowledge/experience a plus but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication required.
  • Ability to effectively translate IT terminology and processes with key stakeholders required.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Ability to multitask in high pace work environment required.
