The Product Manager oversees the implementation of solutions that advance and support operational excellence, system optimization, and other organizational priorities and initiatives. The Product Manager creates the roadmap for their product area(s) and executes on that roadmap in partnership with their business partner(s) (aka Product Owner). The Product Manager advances the product roadmap, continually grooms the product backlog, and sets work priorities for their product team(s). This role emphasizes an entrepreneurial spirit, independent and creative thinking, and leadership through collaboration, not authority.
The IT Inpatient Product Manager plays a crucial role within Cooper University Health Care’s Information Technology Applications team, reporting to the Director of Applications. This position provides leadership in managing clinical applications, ensuring their seamless implementation, monitoring, and maintenance. The manager oversees key people, processes, and technology related to Hospital Inpatient applications, particularly Epic specialty applications such as Orders, Clinical Documentation, ASAP, Bugsy, Stork, CCM, along with other supporting applications. Designed for a technically adept, dynamic leader, this role requires agility in adapting to evolving business needs while maintaining optimal system performance.
Focused on enhancing Inpatient practices through strategic technology integration, this position requires a candidate passionate about using technology to improve patient care and operational efficiency. The IT Product Manager collaborates closely with other operational leaders to ensure IT systems effectively support acute-care hospital, ED and Urgent Care procedure workflows. Responsibilities include coordinating project-oriented efforts, establishing project management processes, and overseeing roadmaps, plans, and daily work efforts in an Agile framework. Additionally, the manager addresses ensures effective communication among IT and business operations stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency
3-5 years' experience is required.
6-10 years' experience is preferred.
High School/GED referred.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Professional Licensure (such as R.N.) in lieu of bachelor’s degree preferred.
Industry-specific certification(s) that align with job-related responsibilities in lieu of bachelor’s degree preferred.
