Short Description

  • Assumes responsibility and accountability for the provision of the highest quality patient care services.
  • Will assist Occupational Therapist in all aspects of patient care related to occupational therapy.
  • Will interact with physicians directly as related to patient care issues.

Experience Required

  • Completion of student related affiliations as per academic setting.
  • 0-2 years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • Adult rehabilitation in acute care and/or outpatient preferred but not required.

 

Education Requirements

Associate's degree from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-OTA - NJ Occupational Therapist Assistant license required.

BLS required.

Special Requirements

Demonstrates initiative, originality, resourcefulness, and good judgment for devising treatment techniques, adaptive devices and completing all assigned duties.
