Oversight of EIP medical and dental care, supportive care, and special project initiatives
impacting medical care in collaboration with EIP Managers. Services for HIV medical care,
primary care and other specialty care, mental health, addiction medicine, Infectious Diseases.
Support services such as medical case management and EIP supportive care services
(transportation, Emergency Financial Assistance, Support Groups, non-medical case
management)
Ensures EIP medical and support care services (Center for Comprehensive Health) are in
compliance with all regulatory and organization standards/guidelines for outpatient ambulatory
care centers, grant services requirements (case management, patient navigation, outreach,
etc.),standards of medical care guidelines, and laboratory services.
Provides clinical oversight working collaboratively with EIP Managers ensuring compliance
with education and training of nurses, case management, navigation services,
Directs and coordinates the planning, organizing, prioritizing, implementation and evaluation
EIP integrated care services and special projects (as applicable).
Participates in grant writing activities.
Works in partnership with Administrative and Medical Director for policy development including
updating, revising existing policies as required.
2 years management experience with patient care services including clinical quality management 5 years of clinical experience.
Solid knowledge of program development, human resources, clinical pathways/guidelines, and regulatory (TJC, CMS, NCQA) mandates required.
Knowledge of federal and state requirements for outpatient ambulatory care and surgery center (preferably for Dental and or Oral Surgery services)
Demonstrated leadership skills, strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to build relationships & partnerships.
Strong analytical, critical thinking & creative problem-solving skills required. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively develop, communicate and implement strategic initiatives for EIP program growth.
Professional and effective presentation skills required.
Bachelors of Science in Nursing or RN from accredited program. Master’s Degree preferred.
Current NJ RN license; AHA BLS
Knowledge and understanding of program development, human resource, clinical pathways or guidelines, regulatory (JCAHO, CMS, and other regulatory bodies) mandates required. Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and critical thinking skills required. Proficient in preparing and presenting presentations, reports or similar. Efficient and effective facilitation and skill in negotiation required. Strong customer service orientation and aptitude required. Self-directed, results-oriented, and flexible.
