Short Description

This job requires the candidate to perform CAT scan procedures following protocols established by the radiologist and operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department. Maintains the work area by reporting Maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies, and deficient. Participates in Clinical activities and adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. 

Experience Required

General, Trauma and ED; 

Experience with Pediatrics and Cardiac preferred but not necessary.

Education Requirements

Graduate of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist Program. 
Enrollment in or graduation from a qualified Computed Tomography program preferred

License/Certification Requirements

Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).

Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists). 

Current NJ-RADTECH License (Radiologic Technologist).

Special Requirements

ARRT Board Certified in Computed Tomography preferred.  If not at the time of hire, within 12 months of employment
