Responsible for overseeing the SPD technicians to ensure consistent use of proper techniques and adherence to the policies and procedures. Familiarity with operating room processes and instrumentation, case cart systems, and supply chain information/inventory control systems. Monitors daily quality improvement measures and collects data and reports on such data. Formulates and recommends the operating and capital budget and controls the same.
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and coworkers
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
Demonstrated competency of the use of computer applications, hospital information systems, encoder, and Microsoft Office applications.
