Short Description

  • Provides first tier support to application users and supports the integration of IAM requirements relative to governing logical access control for person and non-person entities to networks, applications, and systems.
  • Answers questions or resolves application problems for clients in person, via telephone or electronically.
  • Troubleshoots issues impacting operational workflows for providers and end users.
  • Acts as a liaison between the end user and epic application analysts.
  • Participates in testing activities, executes test scripts, and documents for test scripts.
  • Demonstrates ability to grasp basic concepts of application-specific systems to support Go Lives, test scripts, documentation during installation and upgrade activities.
  • Integrates methods to improve current operations, interoperability, and internal staff processes.
  • Responsible for performing research, conducting analysis of alternatives, identifying gaps, and identifying use cases.
  • Ensures adherence to and provides input on policies and procedures in the area of IAM; access provisioning, authentication, and authorization; Governance, and Compliance.
  • Works closely with members of IT, HR, and Business teams in creating and automating efficient, consistent, and scalable processes.
  • Responsible for protecting Cooper information by ensuring that only the appropriate people and processes have access to the right data at the right time.
  • Frontline technical support to users.
  • Creating and using standard operating procedures, FAQs, and job aids for new and existing applications.
  • Documents and maintains the team’s workflow process. Process automation and scripting.

Experience Required

0-2 years’ experience preferred.

1-2 years  experience of Active Directory and/or Epic  preferred

Epic Security Proficiency completed within 6 months required

Education Requirements

High School/GED required.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology/Systems, Healthcare preferred.
1-2 years relevant epic security experience and/or technical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

License/Certification Requirements

RN, PT, OT, MA, LPN. preferred.

Healthcare experience in hospital, medical practice, or health system preferred.

Application specific certification/proficiency within 90 days of hire if applicable required.

Ability to multitask in high pace work environment
