This multi-grant funded position supports the programmatic goals of a variety of addiction medicine programming including the Mobile Health Care Unit (MHCU) and related outreach efforts.
Responsibilities include transporting the MHCU to and from designated community-service sites across
Camden City and Camden County, preparing the vehicle for travel, refueling, replenishing water, coordinating waste disposal, and assisting with site setup and takedown.
This role includes direct engagement with clients, many of whom may be experiencing substance use disorder (SUD) or homelessness (PEH).
The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness of both the mobile unit and a fixed clinic location, including disinfecting patient areas and shower facilities.
A clean shower space is essential to preserving client dignity, boosting morale, and supporting recovery efforts.
Additional duties include assembling and distributing supplies, attending clinic group activities and outreach activities, and providing educational and promotional materials to the community.
Candidates should be competent in basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and capable of organizing various aspects of project activities, including communications, coordination across partners, and data reporting for program evaluation.

High School Diploma Required
Equivalent experience will be considered, particularly in roles involving transportation, outreach, client engagement, or program/event coordination. Candidates with a combination of 3–5 years of relevant work experience—such as driving and maintaining mobile units, supporting community health programs, managing inventory, or coordinating multi-partner events—are encouraged to apply.
