Minimum 4 years of experience in general or grant accounting fields.
Experience in sponsored project (post-award) administration or professional level accounting experience reconciling accounting discrepancies, analyzing expenditures and preparing financial reports.
Experience with account analysis, balance sheet review, journal posting, bank reconciliations. Intermediate level spreadsheet skills; experience with ERP/GL financial reporting software. Preferred, not required: Healthcare experience and grant/foundation accounting.
Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) in accounting, finance or business administration and at least four years accounting experience.
Ability to cover Manager’s responsibilities during PTO. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of professionalism. Ability to train and guide staff level accountants.
