Short Description

Accurately and timely prepares all medications, including IV medications, under the direct supervision of the pharmacist as per policy and regulation.

Experience Required

  • Pharmacy Technician National Certification (PTCB) or > 10 years Pharmacy Hospital experience
  •  
  • Current NJ registration (or eligible upon hire).
  •  
  • Able to complete basic pharmaceutical calculations.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

License/Certification Requirements

  • Must registered with the NJ Board of Pharmacy during the first 10 days of employment.
  • Must complete the registration with the NJ Board of Pharmacy and become an active licensed Pharmacy Technician within 180 days of hire.
  • Pharmacy Technician National Certification (PTCB)
