Coordinates and establishes technical care practices; uses selected published practice theory as a framework for coordinating patient care and by providing theory-based imaging practice information in unusual or complex patient care situations. Works with manager to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate. Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments.
3 years' experience as a Nuclear Med Tech required.
2 years' experience in a leadership preferred but not required.
H.S. Diploma, Certificate of Completion/Degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
Associate degree preferred but not required
Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
Graduate of an AMA approved program in Nuclear Medicine, Current BLS
Current NJ-NUCMED - NJ Nuclear Med Tech License
Current NJDEP – Limited to Fusion Imaging CT Technology
Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech License OR
Current NMTCB - Certified Nuclear Medical Tech License
Strong communication and people skills
