Coordinates, directs, organizes and evaluates patient care, resources, and management during their designated shifts in coordination, with the department directors. Manages resources to maximize quality patient care in accordance with State and Federal regulations and safety guidelines, universal precautions practices, and hospital policies.
Ensures that nursing standards of patient care and standards of nursing practice are consistent with current nursing research findings and nationally recognized professional standards
- 5 years nursing practice in acute care setting.
- Critical care experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- BSN or related health care degree required.
- MSN preferred, or matriculated into same.
- Degree requirements waived for individuals with ten years or more of management experience.
- Current registration with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
- CPR required
- ACLS required
- PALS preferred.
- Membership in professional organization is desired.
Full time, 3 nights a week
