Short Description

The Patient Transport Supervisor role will add a layer of leadership to the department and allow for more insight into the transport work being done in real time. The team is currently 63 members strong with two leaders in place. The addition of this role will improve the overall service of the Patient Transport department.

 

First point of contact on escalations
Service Recovery Delays and Cancellations
Facilitate disciplines as needed
Patient Experience and employee observation rounding
Payroll for assigned staff
Daily Huddles
Call out coverage responsibility - Finding coverage
Managing Lunch Breaks – coverage
Assist with Monthly and Annual Training
Supports New Hire On-Boarding and Training
Responsible for Annual Performance Reviews

Experience Required

0-2 Years of experience

Patient transport experience in a non-leadership role will be considered 
Leadership experience in a non-hospital service line will be considered

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree Preferred

License/Certification Requirements

CPR Preferred
