Short Description

JOB DESCRIPTION - ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) LEAD - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant 
 
Provide high quality, efficient medical care to patients in the Department of Medicine/Endocrinology in the outpatient offices. 
 
Responsible for general oversight of the Advanced Practice Providers; including education, communication, quality initiatives and scheduling of staff. Foster an environment of camaraderie and engagement among Advanced Practice Providers group and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary staff. 

Experience Required

Minimum of 2 years working as Licensed Advanced Practice Provider. Leadership experience required. Endocrinology experience preferred.

Education Requirements

Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant degree is required.

License/Certification Requirements

New Jersey License: APN and RN or PA
American Heart Association BLS 
Certification: NCCPA

Special Requirements

Scheduled Days / Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5pm
