The Staff Pharmacist ensures safe and accurate dispensing and distribution of medications, and through order review and verification, ensures safe, effective, and optimal selection of medications that provides for appropriate dosage and minimization of drug interactions and adverse drug reactions. Staff pharmacists also provide pharmacotherapy management via Medical Staff Executive Committee approved protocols.
