The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

The Reception Ambassador provides information and assistance to patients, families and visitors and serves as support for the clinical staff within the reception and lobby areas at Cooper University Health Care. The ambassador may fill the gap for patients without family or friends available for visits and is often the first team member patients and visitors engage with when entering Cooper University Health Care. Primary responsibilities of the Reception Ambassador are to greet patients/family and visitors, provide excellent customer service, and to create a safe and friendly environment for all guests. The Director of Patient Access Transformation is a specialized leadership role focused on driving operational excellence, performance optimization, and technology utilization across all patient access operations. This role will serve as the expert in analytics, process improvement, performance measurement, and technology optimization for patient access functions. The 340B Data collection Pharmacy technician provides support for the 340B program through claims review to ensure compliance.
The functions include but are not limited to:
- Accurate review and validation of patient records and claim data through self audits.
- Assist with manufacturer reports of REMS identified drug and data submission for limited drug distribution drugs.
- Order medications as required for identified contract pharmacies reviewing accumulation inventory.
- Support 340B analyst including annual audit participation and mitigation.
- Communicate effectively with medication management clinic staff/liaisons to coordinate pharmacy prescriptions.
- Use hospital information systems to review patient records.

The functions include but are not limited to:

Responsible for registration functions (such as registration, insurance verification, patient safety and compliance, revenue collections, resource referrals, and customer service) in a fast paced, high volume Emergency Department that provides 24/7 service.
The Ambulatory Pharmacy technician provides Pharmacy service support in the medication management cinic to ensure continuity and safe care.
The functions include but are not limited to:
- Support the pharmacist in gathering health and prescription information.
- Registration of the patient at clinic visit.
- Complete authorization for prescriptions; obtain supporting documentation for denials.
