The Registered RN is a professional caregiver, who as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. They supervise and provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.   Key Responsibilities  

A nonexempt position responsible for the nursing care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s). May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including physical assessments, medication administration, promotion of wellness through patient education and teaching, care of the patient environment and organizational tasks. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these standards in daily operations. Initiates and implements patient teaching plans. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management. 

- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. - Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics. - Supports the activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assisting with mobility and transport. Demonstrate standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice. -

Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

Performs essential duties related to one or more of the clinical subspecialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology/Immunology based on shift. For Customer Service posting, performs essential duties related to reference lab test processing and resulting.

Responsible for receipt, distribution and delivery of supplies within Cooper Health Care network. This includes: - Picking of requisitions orders - Receipt of Purchase Orders - Delivery of supplies, utilizing truck - Replenishment of inventory supplies, Cycle Counting - Utilizing Lawson / Mobile Supply Chain RF Scanner - Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner

Receives specimens and orders appropriate tests as prescribed; processes samples for laboratory testing using various computer applications. Checks for specimen integrity and proper specimen identification. Prints and distributes reports, answers telephone calls from customers including inpatient nurses/physicians and outpatient clients. Processes specimens for multiple Reference Labs.
