Carries out procedures for department functions, including, but not limited to: - Washing, inspecting, packaging, and sterilizing instruments/equipment - Maintaining accurate monitoring records - Using and interpreting chemical and biological indicators - Performs appropriate cleaning of all sterilization equipment - Assisting OR personnel in locating/reprocessing instruments - Participating in performance improvement activities. - To obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and Spectral Doppler at the patient’s bedside and in Echo Lab.  - Perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress echocardiograms as requested. - Assist Cardiologist with TEE and Intracardiac Echo in the Cardiac Cath Lab. - Rotate hospital on call schedule, arriving within 45 minutes of call. #LI-CU1

The Phlebotomist/EKG technician is the primary person responsible for: a. Collecting laboratory specimens and performing EKG’s on patients treated in the outpatient setting, including off site locations and nursing homes b. Collecting laboratory specimens from hospital inpatients. Patients range in age from newborn through older adult.
