Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required.

Liase with Primary Care and Behavioral Health Division Heads/Department Chairs, physician leaders, Ambulatory Operations, and Access Center staff and others to lead the rollout of corporate and institute initiatives (ex: nontraditional hours, PTO notification process, processes to ensure acceptable patient wait times, etc.). •Create provider templates within Epic, and evaluate (and implement when appropriate) provider and office level schedule changes •Monitor metrics related to provider scheduling and office volume •Oversee patient complaint investigations •Support onboarding and offboarding of providers within PC and BH •Manage special projects as needed

The recovery specialist possesses the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to competently provide non-clinical assistance and recovery support while maintaining follow-up with participants.  The recovery specialist will work with individuals to support and strengthen their capacity to engage in their personal recovery.

A nonexempt position responsible for the nursing care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s). May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including physical assessments, medication administration, promotion of wellness through patient education and teaching, care of the patient environment and organizational tasks. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these standards in daily operations. Initiates and implements patient teaching plans. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
