Under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor, the EMT will provide pre-hospital Basic Life
Support care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a
member of the patient care team.

Under the direction of the manager of clinic operations, functions as a supervisor to clinical staff capable of preparing evaluations and providing in put on performance and administering evaluations. In addition, brings disciplinary items to the manager. Provides medical assistant support to the providers if there is a staffing need. At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.
All incumbents must have satisfactorily completed a Cooper IDX training program to include:
- Responsible for receipt, distribution and delivery of supplies within Cooper Health Care network. This includes Picking of requisitions orders, Receipt of Purchase Orders, Delivery of supplies, utilizing truck, Replenishment of inventory supplies, Cycle Counting, Utilizing Lawson / Mobile Supply Chain RF Scanner, Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
A nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties in various ambulatory settings, including primary, multi-specialty, specialty practices. May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers with patient care, and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these standards in daily operations. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.

Performs cardiac ultrasound tests (including stress Echo’s and Trans esophageal Echo’s) in accordance with the American Society of Echocardiography and department policies. Ability to comply with ICAEL standards. Demonstrates a full knowledge of cardiac ultrasound practice and the usage of digital ultrasound equipment.
