The Division of General Pediatrics has five outpatient practices that provide family centered pediatric primary care across Camden, Gloucester and Burlington counties. The Division of General Pediatrics is currently looking to hire a full time General Pediatrician to provide coverage for well child and sick visit care, in addition to well-baby nursery care. Candidates should be interested in clinical care, teaching, and advancing their academic careers.  Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfilling compliance with Life, Safety, Fire and Hazardous waste requirements. Triage/Coordinates and performs direct patient care and clinical flow. Prepares patients for providers, assisting with exams, assisting provider with suture preparation, carrying out orders, (i.e.; various supplies/tests/ X-Rays/dispensing of medications.) Complete all duties of attending physician as outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws b. Coordinate all specialty consultations and resource utilization c. Discharge patients in a timely manner d. At time of discharge/transfer will complete Discharge Instructions and medication reconciliation e. Dictate DC Summary at time of discharge and indicate copy to be sent to family doctor and all specialists following patient during stay f. Participate in QI and RM and UM as reasonably requested g. Respond to Hospital codes as Lead Physician as requested h....
