The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.

The trained technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

The Nurse Navigator II is an integral part of the Oncology Multidisciplinary Team. The NN II supports, educates, identifies barriers to care and assists patients and families adjust to a new cancer diagnosis.
