The Animal Care Technician is responsible for all aspects of the humane care, handling and restraint of various species of research laboratory animals in accordance with standard operating procedures, experimental protocols and all applicable state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines in the Cooper University Health Care Vivarium. In this position it is essential that individuals work as a productive, cooperative team member in accomplishing tasks.
Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner.

The Child Life Specialist will assess the psychosocial needs of patients and their families to offer and implement supportive, therapeutic interventions such as preparation for health care encounters, procedural support and coping strategies, and opportunities for various types of play.
The Child Life Specialist will be an advocate for pediatric patients and visitors and serve as a resource for other hospital staff in areas of child development, family-centered care, trauma-informed care, age appropriate and developmentally appropriate interactions, and bereavement support.

Promotes and supports the use of evidence-based practice, education, and clinical skills for the specialty population of psychiatry and behavioral health in acute care management.
The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
