Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.   1. Supports the activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assisting with mobility and transport. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice. 2. Performs technical duties as directed by RN, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care specific to population served and documents appropriately. 3. Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice. 4. Reinforces education of patient and family/responsible party regarding individual care needs and safety issues. 5. Participates in Cooper patient satisfaction initiatives and goals. Participates in the performance improvement activities. Assists in orientation of new hires. 6. Completes annual unit-specific competencies by specified due date. 7. Attends Staff Meetings when available for documents review of staff meeting minutes. 8. Assists in admission, transfers and discharges of patients to and from the unit

The Data Specialist will support the program by maintaining the quality of the data in the Database and EPIC system.   The Data Specialist will monitor for quality and completeness, prepare related reports and provide ongoing analysis if trends, gaps and service needs.   The Data Specialist will monitor and report on surveys in REDcap.

This position oversees analysts supporting applications in ancillary areas such as pharmacy, laboratory, neurology, and surgery.  An understanding of applications like Nihon Kohden, Natus, ProVation, Omnicell, etc. is preferred    1. Provides guidance and leadership to the team of analysts. 2. Develop a high performing culture within the team. 3. Provide support to staff to enable delivery on work plans. 4. Along with the Manager set performance objectives. 5. Demonstrates sound and logical problem-solving abilities. 6. Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues, and in advancing personal knowledge. 7. Demonstrates the ability to manage of an analyst team, developing appropriate methodologies, preparation of weekly reports and to provide technical supervision of questions of analysis to data analysts. 8. Coordinate the work of data analysts to ensure a timely issuance of products reviewed by other analysts. 9. Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining applications within the Cooper Health system. 10. Analyze system requirements and determine system functional specifications 11. Gather requirements, provide fit gap analysis and create effective technical solutions for the business needs. 12. Design, validate and confirm new or changed functionality with the supported application environment that meets customer specifications. 13. Provide complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected as part of application requirement gathering. 14. Provide consulting support for customized implementation and installation of the software and related integration elements. 15. Lead large groups to make key decisions. 16. Work closely with business users and application team to design, build and execute a comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan and scripts. 17. Training new team members of the team 18. Demonstrated ability to Work with cross functional teams and Cooper clients by providing education on system functionality, and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity within the application. 19. Coordinating the analysis, development of new functionality, testing and implementing scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixing system defects. 20. Ensure the creation and maintainence of all necessary documentation and training materials for application implementation and changes. 21. Ensure system changes follow change management procedures and protocols 22. Create and maintain all documentation for all assigned applications 23. Develop, plan and execute testing for supported applications 24. Communicates all necessary application changes, enhancements, and procedures to all necessary internal department teams. 25. Must demonstrate basic skills with process improvement and project management. 26. Must be able to function as part of a team providing a high level of quality service to clients. 27. Maintain support documentation, service desk routing, and knowledge base entries. 28. Create and maintain test scripts in support of new installations, projects, and/or system updates. 29. Assist with the administrative, technical, and customer-facing duties surrounding the successful project implementation of system updates and changes. 30. Understand end-user workflow. 31. Serve as a liaison between end users, subject matter experts and technical support. 32. Perform on-call duties as assigned. 33. Demonstrates strong leadership and organizational core values.

Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Control requirements. Maintains Licensure, stays current and participates departmental training offered. Performs procedures (Portables, E.R., Trauma, Fluoro OR and General) as needed. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/guests. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies, maintains paperwork particular to each department/office. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Ambassador team. Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries. Attends greater than 80% of staff meetings to staff informed and supports initiatives.
