Partnered with the nation’s leading cancer center MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas – MD Anderson at Cooper takes a disease-site, multidisciplinary approach to cancer care, with an entire team of cancer experts working together to provide comprehensive, collaborative care for each patient. The Research Department engages in a variety of sponsored research studies that provide life-saving treatment options for our patients.   The Research Department at MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is excited to welcome an Oncology Research Regulatory Coordinator to our team. The Coordinator is a key part in bringing new clinical trials to our patients; managing the start-up process between Cooper and the Sponsors that support our research studies. The Coordinator oversees the regulatory components of the Cancer Center’s study portfolio. This is a dynamic position that involves maintaining regulatory compliance and audit readiness.   This is a hybrid role (onsite and remote) position with a flexible schedule. The position is based at our location in Camden, NJ with option to work in our Voorhees, NJ location.   Work with sponsors during the study start-up process to prepare the regulatory documents and maintain the studies’ regulatory binders throughout duration of study through close out including version control.   Work with the Institutional Review Board to submit initial study applications, amendments, continuing reviews, adverse event reports and other submissions.   Provide regular updates to the Regulatory and Operations team members on where studies are in the review/start-up process, monitoring outcomes, and close out preparation.   Maintain the delegation of authority logs and regulatory documentation for each study and ensure study staff training on each protocol.   Work with sponsors to set up site initiation visits, monitoring visits and study close-out visits and prepare post-visit documents.   Maintains tracking for all protocol related paperwork and collects documents from sponsors for protocol submission and maintenance.  Coordinates FDA submissions and prepares for all research audits.

Leads project Planning Documents the scope and objectives of assigned projects. With the support of the team and sponsors, develops a comprehensive and well planned method for fulfilling project scope and objectives. Identifies skill sets, team roles and financial resources needed to accomplish project goals. Provides expertise in the development of reliable project resource estimates, project work plans, and timelines. Demonstrates ability to interweave the impact of dependent projects and resource contention. 3. Scope Management Manages project scope throughout project, documenting and escalating for approval scope changes, in order to understand and plan for the impacts of the change. 4. Manages Project Team Provides team leadership throughout the project. Oversight and management of team members, addressing team cohesion, conflict management, independent work, on time delivery, performance mentoring, motivation, and evaluation. May function as lead project manager, mentoring and advising other project managers in their performance specific to management of major project components. 5. Project Communication Communicates effectively with relevant project staff, business owners, stakeholders and executive sponsors.
