Responsible for optimizing and growing Cooper Addiction Medicine by working closely with physicians, administrators, senior leadership, community-based organizations, the State of NJ and patients on establishing, maintaining, and improving clinical and business operations.
Serves as the administrative dyad with the Medical Director of The Cooper Center for Healing, and is responsible for strategic plan development, new business development and internal and external relationship management.
This position has administrative responsibility for all activities within the Division of Addiction Medicine, including but not limited to the administrative work associated within the organizational pillars: growth, finance, service & access, quality, people and education & research.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on physician and provider productivity, optimizing provider schedules, establishing and improving operational processes and patient care pathways, and working with other departments within Cooper to improve patient access.
Balance the needs of multiple stakeholders including office staff, scheduling, systems, vendors, regulatory agencies, senior management, clinical providers, and patients.
Support executive leadership in aspects of his/her role in clinical leadership, administrative leadership, and financial accountability.
Proven ability to attract and retain top talent.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills are required; strong oral/written communication skills, including diplomacy and the ability to work with all disciplines, levels, and backgrounds, is also a must; exceptional strength in strategic thinking, analysis and problem solving, organizational leadership, collaboration, and a results-oriented vision and focus.
Ability to direct and manage multiple priorities, utilize effective time management skills, and exercise sound administrative judgment.
Knowledge, experience and success in leadership of complex change management projects; demonstrated ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to business operations, organization development, customer satisfaction, and change management; Strong analytical skills, and experience with performance improvement methodologies and data-driven decision-making.
Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in an urgent care setting and participates in
front desk and registration activities to ensure exceptional patient flow/care and optimize
throughput of patients.
Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper
Urgent Care Center.
This new model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Cherry Hill and
surrounding areas.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.

It is the role of the Rehab Services Aide to assist Therapists and Management staff in the execution of patient care and department operation. May be assigned tasks by Occupational, Physical or Speech therapists. May be asked to cover at other outpatient clinics or locations. Responsible to assist therapist with patient treatments, maintain supplies and overall cleanliness of treatment areas and patient care equipment. Prepares and cleans treatment areas, participates in departmental meetings and in-services, completes special department projects, assist with operational tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, and billing. Aides are required to work at any location, including weekends and holidays, hours will be reflected by the hours of operation for the specific location.
The Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Specialist manages the administration and maintenance of Cooper University Health’s worldwide intellectual property portfolio (involving patents, copyrights, trademarks and licensing), as well as preparation of legal documents and providing other documentation and compliance support. The position also provides the opportunity to learn about and contribute to all steps in the technology transfer processs, from prior art searching, market assessment, licensing and venture creation.

The successful incumbent must be able to juggle multiple projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and a positive attitude. This position reports to the Cooper Innovation Center Director and will be located on the campus of Cooper University Health in Camden, New Jersey.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field
- Demonstrated experience and/or demonstrated interest in technology transfer and IP prosecution matters
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong communication skills across multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience with event planning or event support
- Demonstrated experience using office software such as databases, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and email
- Strong problem solving skills
The preferred candidate will have an educational background in or related field to medicine, the natural sciences, business, information technology or engineering with a degree or continuing to persue a degree with an interest in technology transfer. A candidate with paralegal training will also be given preferred consideration.
The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
Bridge the gap between clinician and patient, by providing individual support and
assistance in navigating the health care system to provide continuity of care.
Working with current RN Navigator disease team to provide non-clinical support regarding scheduling, pre cert process, follow up calls and record retrieval for timely appointments
Call new patients within 24 hours of visit to CCI to check in regarding follow up appointments and needs.
Work with CPN, Navigators, Social Work, Dieticians, Call Center, Providers, Radiology scheduling, chemo scheduling, and phone triage to support patients needs
Participate in daily multi disciplinary rounding on inpatient oncology unit, and identify needs and opportunities for coordination of care, follow up and scheduling
Act as a member of the Transition of Care team assisting patients in transitioning from inpatient to outpatient areas without interruption in services and care
Assist in connecting patients to services for support (ie: social work, financial counseling)
Tracking of all patient contacts, follow ups, barriers to care and outcomes
Ensures the delivery of patient care through the coordination of customer services
Participates in interdepartmental and ancillary activities to ensure quality, cost-effective
patient care.

Provides psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, resources referrals, to facilitate discharge plans, and/or adjustment to illness, and complex discharge planning for patients and their families.
Formulates the discharge plan with patient, families and the care team based upon a needs assessment. Coordinates appropriate referrals to home care agencies, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, and community-based programs.
Coordinates care authorization process with insurers. Coordinates specific details of patient’s hospitalization with Utilization Management department to ensure appropriate admission status.
Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy. High School diploma or equivalent required.
