Reporting to the Director of Radiology, The Manager of Interventional and Vascular Imaging Services will provide effective leadership and direction to the IR, Vascular, ASC diagnostic lead technologist, supervisors and ASC diagnostic technologist , promoting a collaborative and cohesive work environment. The manager shall oversee team recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to foster a skilled and motivated workforce. Implement strategies to enhance team satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Obtains appropriate documentation from technical staff as well as participate in Primary Sourcing to ensure team are in compliance with State, National Accrediting Agencies, as well as compliance with all of Cooper’s policies and corporate compliance requirements to include Annual Safety Training, PPD, Fit Testing and safety across the continuum.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimize workflow.
Participate in interdepartmental meetings and committees to drive collaboration, address challenges, and improve overall patient and staff experiences.
Implement and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards. Ensure adherence to Joint Commission standards and regulatory compliance.
The manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations across all areas of oversite.
Responsible for supporting the ED clinical team in provision of patient care. This includes environmental readiness, assistance with procedures/care, carrying out specific duties, and effective communication. Support departmental initiatives including but not limited to patient throughput and customer service initiatives.
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of benefits, retirement, leave of absence and worker’s compensation wide ensuring a solid understanding of benefits offered.
Responsible for managing the employee health team and supporting the compliance of required vaccines and testing.
Lead the team that manages our core benefit and retirement programs.
Partner with third party benefit administrators to facilitate relationships and ensure accuracy and efficiency in reporting and plan management.
This is a leadership position that requires managing, administering, developing improvements, and coordinating the day-to-day activities of Cooper University Healthcare’s health insurance and retirement programs.
Ensures assigned vendor compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, ACA and other regulations.
Participates in key surveys, investigate trends and best practices and partner with internal team members and external experts to bring recommendations to leadership.
Identify opportunities for improvement in the operational delivery of our programs and offerings.
Oversee annual enrollment efforts by supporting team with timing, communications and system testing to ensure a smooth, positive employee experience.

Works with internal and external legal resources and consultants to ensure programs are legally compliant and oversee all benefit compliance efforts.
Works with the team to prepare, with appropriate approval, amended plan documents, contracts, SOWs & work orders, etc.
Extensive knowledge of benefits packages, policies, and legislation.
Strong understanding of federal, state and local laws including keeping up to date on future changes.
Deep understanding of benefit compliance requirements.
This position requires flexibility and the ability and readiness to work beyond the normal hours. It also requires the ability to handle ambiguity in work plan definition and the ability to adapt to change. May require supervisor to perform clinically, imaging patient if there is a critical need for coverage.
Prepares staffing plan, reviews and approves work schedules to ensure adequate 24 hour staff coverage. Projects staffing needs, flex staff when needed to work within metrics; interviews and assist with hiring the right employees to fill vacant positions. Monitors patient care and analyzes patient care patterns and initiates quality improvement procedures and initiatives to enhance patient services; ensures a safe, diagnostic/therapeutic environment. Initiates patient placement to ensure the delivery of optimal patient care and arranges for continuity of care when warranted by patient condition. Supervises the provision of personalized, coordinated quality services responsive to changing health care trends.
Coordinates and establishes technical care practices; uses selected published practice theory as a framework for coordinating patient care and by providing theory based imaging practice information in unusual or complex patient care situations. Works with managers to formulate plan for professional development. Attends educational in-services as appropriate. Participates in professional activities and organizations to maintain knowledge of current trends, practices, and developments. Maintains records on departmental personnel activities and processes.
Actively participates in ongoing or ad hoc committees or task forces to identify and resolve patient care issues. Assist and supervise development of priority competencies (technical skills, critical thinking, and human relations skills) for each type of staff within the clinical service line.
Complets annual staff evaluations. Oversees training and competency of all new hires and completes 90 day probationary evaluations. Clarifies performance expectations with employees and provides ongoing feedback, to staff, on a regular basis. Develops competencies for staff members and ensures that all staff are competent in all aspects of department positions. Adresses inappropriate behaviors or actions by conducting coaching sessions of staff in a direct and confidential manner. All progressive discipline of staff members reviwed with the Manager or Director.
Will serve as content expert for staff and administration by resolving/answering technical issues or concerns which may arise. Serves as point person for completion of ACR Accreditation applications and submission of images and QA documents for all Cooper MRI departments. Provides clinical oversight for MRI protocols and infection control as it relates to high level disinfection.
Obtains appropriate documentation from technical staff as well as participate in Primary Sourcing to ensure staff are in compliance with State, National Accrediting Agencies, as well as compliance with all of Cooper’s policies and corporate compliance requirements to include Annual Safety Training, PPD, Fit Testing and safety across the continuum.
Completes payroll responsibilities in Kronos, and ensures that Support individual and departmental achievement through strong and effective employee enganement and the use of recognition methods.
Performs rounding on all staff employees. Responsible for ensuring department operates within or under budgetary guidelines in regards to staffing and expense management
Ability to respond and investigate EARS reporting incidences.
Strong focus on Quality and Safety
Performs essential duties related to one or more of the clinical subspecialties of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank and Microbiology/Immunology based on shift. Specific skills required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry and Point of Care job postings. For Customer Service posting, performs essential duties related to reference lab test processing and resulting.
Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, in
cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team.
Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing
appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport
patients to appropriate medical facilities.
Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient
EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.
The Telemetry Equipment Distribution Tech works collaboratively with the Centralized Monitoring Room and inpatient units to follow policies and procedures to help the departments function more efficiently in telemetry monitoring of patients. The Telemetry Equipment Distribution Tech is responsible for the tracking, delivering, retrieving, and cleaning of equipment to ensure safe monitoring and care of our patients.
- Delivering, retrieving, cleaning, and storage of telemetry packs according to established policies and procedures.
- Adjusting telemetry leads and battery replacement to ensure proper rhythm capture/recording.
- Inventory tracking.
- Participation in performance improvement activities

1. Supports the activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assisting with mobility and transport. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice.
2. Performs technical duties as directed by RN, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care specific to population served and documents appropriately.
3. Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice.
4. Reinforces education of patient and family/responsible party regarding individual care needs and safety issues.
5. Participates in Cooper patient satisfaction initiatives and goals. Participates in the performance improvement activities. Assists in orientation of new hires.
6. Completes annual unit-specific competencies by specified due date.
7. Attends Staff Meetings when available for documents review of staff meeting minutes.
8. Assists in admission, transfers and discharges of patients to and from the unit
