Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy.

This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.
- Coder III demonstrates proficiency in coding high acuity inpatient accounts and/or coding of technical outpatient accounts including, but not limited to Observation, Radiation Oncology, Chemotherapy Infusion, Cardiac Cath/Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology and Surgery to support Revenue Cycle goals for timely billing.
