Responsible for developing and managing clinical nursing quality improvement plans that integrates evidenced based practice and nursing practice initiatives under the direction of the AVP of Nursing Quality and Innovation. This nurse leader promotes shared decision making, organizational and nursing goals including interdisciplinary and collaborative practices. The role implements strategies for project management, quality improvement, safety outcomes, clinical innovation. This includes use of systems and partnerships to collect, aggregate and report clinical, quality data and the implementation of processes and education to achieve outcomes.
1. Responsible for the day-to-day operations for clinical project management, quality improvement and safety outcomes.
2. Leads and collaborates with individual unit and professional development teams in support of proactive nursing quality improvements. Supports unit level action planning and results monitoring (i.e. provides structure, process and outcome indicators to evaluate nursing care at the organization, divisional and unit level.
3. Engages stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of quality improvement processes.
4. Subject matter expert for quality data and initiatives using formal quality improvement methodologies (PDSA, etc.)
5. Partners with key organizational members to be content expert on nursing outcomes, NDNQI, EHR/decision support, patient safety and current nursing practice.
6. Relationship builder between key stakeholders and departments, Consultant in the analysis of requested complex enhancements and optimization throughout PCS.
7. Lead nursing and multidisciplinary teams and represent nursing on hospital/system committees.
Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors and employees as well as protect and preserve property interests of the Cooper Health System.
Assumes responsibility for record keeping, and intra-departmental and Inter-departmental communications.
Prepares food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu.
Reads food order or receives verbal instructions on food required by patron and prepares and cooks food according to instructions.
Follows basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments.
Prepares food under direct supervision or instruction by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry or fish for culinary use.
Tastes products, read menus, estimates food requirements, checks production, and keeps records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment.
Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment and must follow all regulatory rules and procedures.
Complies with all HACCP policies and procedures.
Ensures that the proper quantity of food is prepared by utilizing the correct portion control utensils.
Maintain proper food temperatures during food preparation and record those temperature according to the established policy.
