The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for the entire initial credentialing and privileging process and reappointment process for all new medical staff and allied health professional applicants to ensure the highest quality patient care at Cooper University Health Care.
The Specialist will also be responsible for designated managed care audit coordination. The position collaborates with the Director Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission Standards, and other regulatory requirements. Resourcefulness, good judgment, self-sufficiency, and good organizational skills are required to prioritize and accomplish tasks.
The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Responsible for setup and breakdown of all instructional material and decontamination of equipment when necessary. Analysis of student performance and competency depending on course requirements. Teaches a minimum of four courses per year within their area of expertise.
