This position primarily provides administrative and clerical support for 3 CUP Directors – Financial Operations, Practice Operations and Business Development. A lot of basic analytical support and database creation and maintenance will be required. Extreme attention to detail necessary.
Performs the functions of a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist in the Epilepsy
Monitoring Unit as well as Routine Lab procedures including Evoked Potentials.
Additional duties may include routine EEG, at off-site Brace Road office.
Will occasionally be a preceptor for students.
This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients.
Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer
satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital.
Serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients.
Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to
patients and their families using AIDET.
Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values
to both customer and co-workers.
Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination
A nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties in various ambulatory settings, including primary, multi-specialty, specialty practices. May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers with patient care, and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these standards in daily operations. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.

Lead others in providing prompt and accurate patient registrations while delivering good customer service. Must be able to multi task and work in a team environment. This individual serves as a lead and the front-line contact person for all incoming patients. The incumbent will greet, register, schedule and provide general information to patients and/or their families. Ensures that insurance information is verified, co-pays are collected, and that patient charts are prepared in advance. At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.

- Provides a means, wheelchair or stretcher, and transports patient to and from the required locations throughout the Medical Center, including the Morgue, in a safe and orderly manner.
- Assists the patient care team in transferring patients safely to and from a wheelchair, stretcher and/or examination table. Provides a secondary source to hold and/or position a patient if necessary.
