Under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor, the EMT will provide pre-hospital Basic Life
Support care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a
member of the patient care team.
Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing
appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport
patients to appropriate medical facilities.
Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient
EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.
Responsible for supporting the ED clinical team in provision of patient care. This includes environmental readiness, assistance with procedures/care, carrying out specific duties, and effective communication. Support departmental initiatives including but not limited to patient throughput and customer service initiatives.
Linkage to care point person for newly identified HIV infected persons enrolling in Cooper EIP medical care services. Re-engage HIV infected persons lost to care. Provide partner services to new and existing HIV infected patients. Work collaboratively with the medical care team providing patient counseling for management of medical treatment care plan.
Employ social networking strategies with new and existing HIV-infected patients to bring additional social contacts in for HIV testing. Provide prevention counseling/strategies such as CLEAR, ARTAS, or Partners in Health for patients and their families..

About the program:
The Cooper Health System has recently established Cooper University Dental Health, a new comprehensive dental care program located on campus of Cooper University Hospital at the Center for Comprehensive Health, 3 Cooper Plaza in Camden, NJ. The Center for Comprehensive Health is a multidisciplinary health center that has a strong and well-established reputation for state-of-the-art patient care that now includes comprehensive oral health – general dentistry, dental hygiene, and outpatient oral surgery. We are seeking a Population Health Coach to offer comprehensive guidance to patients in all facets of dental care. This role entails assisting patients in understanding treatment plans and coordinating dental appointments, ultimately supporting them throughout their treatment process within our program.
Provides programmatic and client support for the provision of patient-centered care.
Encourage continuity of care between clinician and patient, by providing individual support and assistance to the patient and family in navigating the health care system.
Demonstrate superior organizational & interpersonal skills; will be detail oriented; will have proven ability to work collaboratively and be able to multi-task.
Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
Supports the clinical treatment care of patients.
Ensures patient comfort and assists in educating patient on dental procedures.
Works efficiently to maintain clinic schedule while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
Organizes and maintains surgical instruments and lab equipment.
Schedules patients appropriately; confirms patient appointments including referral and treatment plans from general dentist.
Performs the complete check-in functions for each patient.
Provides instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
Obtains radiographic imagining as requested by the provider.
Assists in patient recovery following IV sedation in the office.
Performs all functions within the scope of their practice.
The Registered RN is a professional caregiver, who as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. They supervise and provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.
