- Greets, guides and manages patients and visitors throughout the campus.

Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy. High School diploma or equivalent required.
The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

Blood Bank responsibilities of this position include:
- Coordinates quality improvement and assurance activities in the Blood Bank to ensure safe patient care, compliance with internal policies and procedures, and external (FDA, CAP/AABB, Joint Commission, FACT, NJDOH) regulatory compliance.
- In conjunction with the Medical Director and Manager develops and maintains procedure manuals, develop and implement validation protocols, internal assessments and competency assessments.
- Manages event reports and event-related corrective action, direct maintenance of event management.
- Provides a wide range of clinical data analyses to monitor Transfusion Medicine quality initiaitves.
General Lab responsibilities of this position include:
- Overseeing the policies, procedures and services of the Clinical and Anatomic Laboratory from a Quality perspective.
- Maintaining oversight that insures a Continuous Readiness environment with respect to Regulatory agency guidelines.
- Collecting and analyzing data that gauges laboratory performance.
- Analyzing processes and workflow for improvement opportunity.
- Investigating events of noncompliance and reports findings.
- Investigating internal and external complaints/concerns regarding laboratory performance.
- Overseeing the policies, procedures and services of the Clinical and Anatomic Laboratory from a safety perspective.
- Overseeing the safety training and orientation of newly hired staff and students as well as assigning annual safety competencies to all staff.
A nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties in various ambulatory
settings, including primary, multi-specialty, specialty practices.
May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers
with patient care, and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical
services.
Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these
standards in daily operations.
Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and
ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
This position can work tray line, host/hostess, cafeteria, deli, cashier, salad bar, pizza, etc. Can act as runner and be responsible for restocking and cleanliness.
Responsible for ensuring all stations are ready for operations, including accuracy, speed and having a sense of urgency. This includes setting up next shift for success. Daily cleaning of respective areas and a clean as you go policy to be enforced. Hosts/hostesses are responsible for requesting two patient identifiers (date of birth and full name of patient) and assisting patient with opening items if required. Hosts/hostesses must ensure condiment boxes are restocked, patient delivery carts are sanitized, etc.
COMPLETE ANY OTHER DUTIES/CLEANING AS ASSIGNED
Daily cleaning to include: starter stations, , air- curtain refrigerators, host/hostess carts, ice cream freezers, beverage center and any other areas as deemed necessary in patient services. In the retail areas all set-up and breakdown of stations must be cleaned and sanitized between shifts and fully restocked. Everything must be dated and labeled and temps recorded daily – twice per day.
All staff members may be asked to perform other tasks and/or temporarily re-assigned to other work areas, as business needs require. Break times are subject to change contingent upon business needs.
