Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe. Evaluates patients, implements, and documents nursing care. Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens using proper techniques, ensuring accurate labeling, handling, and documentation. Maintain a clean, organized work environment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Verify patient information, provide exceptional care, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for timely specimen collection. Assist with additional tasks as needed, all while maintaining a professional and personable demeanor.
A nonexempt position responsible for the nursing care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s). May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including physical assessments, medication administration, promotion of wellness through patient education and teaching, care of the patient environment and organizational tasks. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these standards in daily operations. Initiates and implements patient teaching plans. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
This role is directly responsible for the trafficking of patients to and from the floors and Critical Care units to all Radiologic modalities. Prescreen all requisitions to ensure that patients are not going to receive duplicate treatment by bringing those requisitions to the attention of the shift supervisor or lead technologist in each area. Make every attempt to coordinate the efforts of the different modalities, so patients are brought to the department once and receive as many of the scheduled procedures as possible
Responsible for the management of clinical and business operations of assigned sites, including the delivery of quality clinical services, improving patient experience, materials management, software implementations, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, environment of care, and facility management, making themselves or designee available after hours for emergency issues such as facility or operational issues due to weather, call outs or other unforeseen circumstances.
