- Responsible for the daily supervision of the classroom under the direction of the lead teacher.
- Assists in preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
- Demonstrates knowledge of licensing requirements, NAEYC Accreditation criteria and developmentally appropriate practice in daily interactions in the classroom.
This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.
- Responsible for setting up the patient in the exam room
- Perform and Document:
- Vital signs (manual BPs)
- EKGs
- Reconciliation of medications
- Reason for visit, health care concern
- Interview/Discuss with patient changes in patient’s health since the last visit
- Assist the provider with minor surgical procedures
- Prepare appropriate medications for injections
- Responsible for phone messages, faxes, and Medical Reception responsibilities as needed
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, computer skills for scheduling, and familiarity with general office procedures and equipment
Administrative functions include scheduling meetings, coordinates programs, data management, payroll duties, composing, typing, organizing, maintaining and distributing documents and incoming/outgoing correspondence for Directors, handling confidential personnel and financial documents, assist Directors with daily operational functions.
Acts as Human Resource liaison, maintains time and attendance, assists and coordinates calendar for Director, maintains expense accounts, coordinate IT requests for service, responsible for office supplies across the Department, monitor accounts payable, compiles data for reports and other duties as necessary.
Identify and screen patients for social determinants of health and connect them to appropriate resources
Essential functions and responsibilities include:
- Work with staff to identify eligible patients for project
- Introduce the screening tool to patients and assist patients who require extra help completing the screening tool
- Work with clinical and administrative staff to relay appropriate screening information
- Screen patients for unmet health-related social needs (e.g utilities, interpersonal violence, food insecurity and housing).
