Cooper Bone and Joint Institute is seeking a Full Time ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner    This position will offer autonomous orthopedic patient care and the ability to work non-traditional hours.   The ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER will support the institute by evaluating and treating patients with acute orthopedic or postoperative problems in the office environment to provide access to orthopedic care.

- Greets visitors and assists them during check-in, intake and checkout - Provides outstanding customer service    - Schedules appointments and records information in Practice Management System ( Electronic Scheduling System)  - Answers to telephone calls and routes appropriately - Verifies insurance eligibility, ensures requirements are met and explains to patients as needed - Collects co-pays

This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.
