The Vice President, Revenue Cycle leads the overall strategy, optimization and implementation guidance of revenue cycle operations for Cooper University Health Care’s acute care, outpatient, and professional networks across the health system.
Key areas of responsibility include oversight of the hospital registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, utilization management and discharge planning, revenue integrity, clinical documentation improvement (CDI), health information management, patient financial services, training, and overall collection of patient service revenues across the revenue cycle.
Assists the Clinical team in providing indirect patient care, plus has non patient care responsibilities to include but not limited to turning over rooms, pharmacy/specimen pickup or delivery, setting up equipment for cases and patient transporting. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing and current NJ-RN License required. Specific shift requirements apply.

The Patient Care Technician provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include observing and reporting patient condition changes, assisting with daily living activities (such as meals and bathing), recording vital signs, measuring fluid intake/output, collecting specimens, and transporting patients within the hospital. They also perform one-on-one monitoring with documentation, demonstrate computer skills, follow physician orders, and use the internal paging and patient call systems.
