The Reception Ambassador provides information and assistance to patients, families and visitors and serves as support for the clinical staff within the reception and lobby areas at Cooper University Health Care. The ambassador may fill the gap for patients without family or friends available for visits and is often the first team member patients and visitors engage with when entering Cooper University Health Care. Primary responsibilities of the Reception Ambassador are to greet patients/family and visitors, provide excellent customer service, and to create a safe and friendly environment for all guests. Reception ambassadors provide information, assistance, and support to our patients, guests, team members and visitors within our lobby areas in the organization. 

Responsible for the management of clinical and business operations of assigned sites, including the delivery of quality clinical services, improving patient experience, materials management, software implementations, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, environment of care, and facility management, making themselves or designee available after hours for emergency issues such as facility or operational issues due to weather, call outs or other unforeseen circumstances.     -

Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining applications.  Coordinates the analysis and development of new functionality. Builds, tests, and implements new functionality, maintenance changes, and fixes.  Reviews and completes scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades.  Analyzes, diagnoses, and implements system and process changes. Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy.

Provides support to Cooper University Hospital including off-site hospital based ambulatory practices.  Installs, configures and responds to customer support calls for software, hardware, peripherals, data network devices, smartphones, and all equipment used for Cooper business. Troubleshoots and repairs network connectivity issues; updates hardware inventory including spare parts; replaces and removes old equipment; develops and maintains technical documentation; interfaces with other IT teams and service vendors to resolve problems.  Has to work independently with minimum supervision while handling problems and projects.
