Perform diagnostic quality cardiac exercise stress testing procedures including regular treadmill exercise stress test, nuclear and other pharmacologic stress tests. Prepares, assesses, and provides care for the patient throughout the procedure. Tests are performed in an outpatient setting.
Assists the Clinical team in providing indirect patient care, plus has nonpatient care responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Room turnover: includes taking out the trash, cleaning all areas of the OR, including the OR table, making the table up, and mopping the floor
- Gathering equipment, supplies, and instrumentation for surgical cases
- Changing OR tables when necessary
- Room set up: setting up the entire OR room for the next case or first case of the day; this includes making the bed, having necessary equipment in the room positioned appropriately for the case
- Taking specimens to the lab
- Take returns to CSP and put returns away that live in the OR upstairs.

A nonexempt position responsible for the nursing care under the supervision of physicians, providers and/or registered nurse(s). May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including physical assessments, medication administration, promotion of wellness through patient education and teaching, care of the patient environment and organizational tasks.
